Drone Surveillance

Coverage from above that ground teams can't match.

We deploy licensed drone operators for aerial surveillance, property monitoring, investigation support and event security. Live feeds, recorded footage and thermal imaging available depending on the operation.

What drone surveillance is used for

From the air, you can see things that are simply not possible to observe from the ground. Our drone operators provide aerial coverage for a range of situations where conventional surveillance is impractical or insufficient.

  • Monitoring large properties, farms and remote land for trespass or illegal activity
  • Supporting ground-based investigation teams with aerial overwatch
  • Documenting activities at a specific location over time
  • Event security coverage to monitor crowd movement and perimeter breaches
  • Construction and property inspections
  • Missing person searches in collaboration with families or SAPS
  • Farm and game reserve monitoring for poaching activity

Aerial surveillance operations

We deploy drones in support of active investigations. This gives our ground teams a significant advantage: they can see exactly where a subject is, which direction they are heading, and whether there are other individuals present that are not visible from street level.

Aerial footage is recorded in high definition and can be used as evidence. We maintain a chain of custody for all footage collected during an investigation.

Property and perimeter monitoring

Large properties, agricultural land and remote sites are difficult and expensive to monitor using fixed cameras alone. A drone can cover the perimeter of a large farm in minutes and identify exactly where a fence has been breached, where vehicle tracks lead and where people are gathering.

We can conduct periodic fly-overs on a scheduled basis or respond to specific triggers such as a perimeter alarm or suspicious activity report.

Thermal imaging

Certain operations require the ability to detect people or animals in low-light or no-light conditions. Our thermal imaging drones detect heat signatures and can locate individuals hiding in vegetation or dense terrain where a standard camera would miss them entirely. This is particularly useful for farm security and missing person searches.

Event coverage

For large events, a drone provides an overview of the venue that no ground-based camera can replicate. We can monitor crowd flow, identify access control failures, track individuals of concern and provide real-time footage to a security command post. This is coordinated with ground teams to allow rapid response where needed.

Licensing and compliance

All our drone operators are licensed with the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) and operate in accordance with Part 101 of the Civil Aviation Regulations. Operations in controlled or restricted airspace require additional authorisation, which we arrange before the operation.

We do not conduct operations that violate airspace restrictions or that would constitute an invasion of privacy beyond what is lawfully permitted for investigative purposes.
